| Barry I. Whitaker
Elder Barry is a native of Ocala, Florida. He is the co-founder and co-facilitator of IMPACT Word Study Broadcast Ministry. After Barry acknowledged his call to ministry in 1994, under the leadership of Pastor T. Patricia Nelson, pastor of Mt. Tabor A.M.E. Church, he received training, spiritual guidance, and ordination in ministry from the Central Florida Institute. After years of supporting and pastoring, God began to redirect Barry and Dawn’s hearts and vision, bringing them out of religious systems. They were taught about the Father’s covering, how to catch the Father’s Spirit, and that a mature son or daughter must learn to walk side by side with his or her father. They learned that prosperity would come only through their obedience and faithful submission to the leader that God has set before them. After he received the appointment of eldership, in 2015 he received more in-depth training under the leadership of Apostle Charlene Glover at Trumpet of God Ministries & Training Center in the New Testament Pattern of Ministry. Elder Barry received his Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Leadership from Faith Christian University in Orlando, Florida, and has served in ministry now over 27 years.
Elder Barry began to mature and obtain revelation concerning the reformation of truth and what God had intended the church to be from the very foundation of time; the true tabernacle revealed, where the Word of God ministers in power, demonstration, and authority to change the spiritual atmosphere and the quality of the lives of those in the environment. He believes that for reformation to take place means the disrupting of religious systems and driving out spiritual wickedness within a community, religion, or nation. Elder Barry has led the men’s ministry helping to develop the Four Pillars of a Man’s Heart (the King, the Warrior, the Mentor, and the Friend) as subscribed by author Stu Weber. Elder Barry has also facilitated youth and couple’s ministry groups along with his wife Elder Dawn.
Elder Barry is characterized as a man of God who exhibits character and integrity in his interactions. He has been married to his wife Dawn for 45 years, and they are blessed with three sons: Ivan, Domonique, Demaril, and two daughters, Jarda and Shennika.
